Chase Dutton hits key home run for Oakridge in Game 1, Eagles baseball takes two from Newaygo
LocalSportsJournal.com The Oakridge baseball team won both games in a doubleheader against Newaygo on Wednesday. The Eagles topped the Lions 12-7 and 7-4. The opening game was back and forth before the Eagles broke it open with a six-run fifth inning, including a three-run homer from Chase Dutton. The Eagles’ JoJo White picked up the win in relief for Dutton on the mound. White collected three hits in the lead-off position, while Logen Huston added two hits, one a double, and two RBI.
