Chapman Sets Program Record As Women鈥檚 Track Finishes First In Merrimack Tri-Meet
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- Senior distance runner Maci Chapman set a program record and the Merrimack women's track and field team used its clear edge in the sprints to claim a first-place finish in a tri-meet against Stonehill and St. Anselm's at Duane Stadium on Thursday. Merrimack finished with 158 points while Stonehill (133) and St. Anselm's (38) finished second and third, respectively. Chapman set the program record with her first-place finish in the 5000 meters (17:29.17), a 51-second advantage over second place.
