BOISE, Idaho – Boise State dropped its Mountain West series opener to New Mexico 6-1, Thursday. The Broncos (18-21, 4-6 MW) were limited to seven hits, three of which came in the final frame. The Lobos (16-19, 4-6) scored twice in the first and never looked back. Boise State's lone run came in the seventh inning when Marissa Gonzalez doubled and scored on a single by Mya Flindt .
