WICHITA, Kan. – Saint Joseph's sophomore catcher Blake Primrose was named to the midseason watch list for the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award this week. The award, given out by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, is bestowed upon the nation's top collegiate catcher in Division I. Originally known as the Johnny Bench Award, the name was changed to honor Buster Posey, who won the award in 2008.
