Zygowski Ties Saves Record as Pointers Sweep SNC
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. 鈥� UW-Stevens Point softball senior Ashley Zygowski (Saukville, Wis./Port Washington) tied the NCAA Division III record for career saves as the Pointers (16-4) swept a doubleheader from St. Norbert (9-9) on Wednesday. UWSP took game one in run-rule fashion, 12-0, before finishing the sweep with an 8-2 win in game two. Zygowski tossed three scoreless innings in relief in game two to record her 32nd career save, tying the NCAA DIII and WIAC all-time record.
