Women鈥檚 Tennis Drops Road Contest at Elizabeth City State
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. 鈥� The Bowie State women's tennis team (0-11, 0-10 CIAA) dropped a 7-0 decision to Elizabeth City State on Tuesday afternoon in conference action. The Lady Vikings took control early by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point. Nakari Blunt and Payton Swinton fell 5-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Asia Johnson and Verneice Herndon were defeated 6-0 at the No. 2 spot.
