William Carr Named CAA Co-Golfer Of The Week
RICHMOND, Va. 鈥� Elon freshman William Carr has been named the Coastal Athletic Association Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday. Carr earned the honor after claiming individual medalist honors at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate last weekend, leading a 92-player field with a three-round score of 8-under par 208 (72-71-65). His performance helped propel Elon to a share of the team title, as the Phoenix finished tied for first in the 14-team field at 9-under par 855.
