Tempo make first trade in franchise history, acquire pick from Sky
The phone lines are officially open in the Toronto Tempo front office. On Wednesday, the Tempo made their first trade in franchise history, acquiring the 26th pick (via the New York Liberty) in the upcoming WNBA Draft from the Chicago Sky, the team announced. In exchange, the Tempo have agreed not to select any players from Chicago's unprotected list in the 2026 expansion draft.
