Stepinac basketball falls to SPIRE Academy at Chipotle Nationals
Stepinac won an unprecedented fourth straight CHSAA "City" championship this season. The Crusaders had three McDonald's All-Americans. Despite the unprecedented success this season, Stepinac was very much an underdog Wednesday against SPIRE Academy in the opening round of Chipotle Nationals. The Crusaders were in the game when they went into the locker room at halftime but fizzled after the break and suffered an 87-76 loss at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana.
