QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's tennis team earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over FDU (7-9, 4-1 NEC) on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center. With the win, the Red Storm improve to 13-5 overall and 4-1 in BIG EAST play, while claiming their fourth victory in the last five matches. St. John's opened strong in doubles action, as Charlotta Buss and Giulia Bizzari secured a 6-2 win over Valentina Silva and Katsiaryna Kostsina on the No. 3 court.
