Sprinters shine at Wheaton Invitational
WHEATON, Ill. – The Bluejay sprinters made their marks on the early outdoor season, posting a number of top times in the CCIW while competing at the Wheaton Invitational on Tuesday. Four athletes cracked the top ten on the CCIW performance list across three events, highlighted by Carmela Woods and Alma Diabi’s times in the women’s 100 and 200 meters. Woods placed 2nd in the 100, with a personal-record time of 12.19, good for 2nd this season in the CCIW.
