Softball Sweeps Hunter In Two Walk Off Wins
Newark, NJ- The Rutgers-Newark softball team steps out with a sweep over Hunter college, winning 6-5 and 5-4, both in an exciting walk-off fashion. In the first game, the Scarlet Raiders jumped out early, scoring two runs in the first inning to take control. After a quiet stretch through the middle innings, Rutgers-Newark broke the game open in the sixth with a three-run frame before scoring the winning run in the seventh.
