Softball: Softball: Hawks Level Curry in Seventh, Unable to Hold On in Extras
MILTON, Mass. – Despite a two run lead in heading into the bottom of the eighth inning the Roger Williams University Softball team was unable to hold on against Conference of New England (CNE) foe Curry, falling 8-7, in extra innings. The Hawks offense was powered by Madison Moran (Attleboro, Mass.) who went 4-for-5 with a home run and a double. The Hawks also saw Shannon Starratt (Lake George, N.Y.) go 2-for-5 in the contest, brining in a pair of runs, while Skye Merrow (Hudson, N.H.) and Grace Forsythe (Woburn, Mass.) each hit a home run in the game.
