MARICOPA, Ariz. (4/1/26) – Senior Thomas Schmidt earned his sixth career medalist honors as the Arkansas State men's golf team finished second in the Cowboy Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes. Schmidt posted three consecutive rounds in the 60s to total 13-under par 203, tied for the 10th-lowest 54-hole total in program history. In 24 rounds played this season, Schmidt has now finished in the 60s in 12 following back-to-back 5-under 67's and a final round 3-under par 69.
