Rain shortens first game for Gallaudet against Notre Dame (Md.), second game rescheduled
WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University softball team dropped a rain-shortened conference game on Wednesday against Notre Dame of Maryland University as the Gators led 8-2 in the fifth inning when the game was called at the GU Softball Complex. Notre Dame (Md.) jumped out early with five runs in the first inning and added two more in the second, as the Gators capitalized on Gallaudet miscues to score four unearned runs.
