Queen鈥檚 Football named Jim Tait Trophy recipient as Varsity Team of the Year
Queen’s Football was named the Jim Tait Trophy recipient as the Varsity Team of the Year for the 2025-26 season at the Queen’s Athletics & Recreation Colour Awards banquet Wednesday night. The Jim Tait Trophy is presented annually to the top performing Varsity Team. This award recognizes the team’s competitive success, community involvement and other attributes which have brought the most honour and recognition to Queen’s. Queen’s Football captured the 117 th Yates Cup in 2025, the program’s first Yates Cup victory in 16 years. Queen’s Football finished the season with two U SPORTS All-Canadians and 12 OUA All-Stars.
