Morris Named Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey's Joseph Morris has been named Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Specialist of the Week, the league office announced today. The award is the third of the season for the junior from Bethesda, Md. In a pair of Belmont Abbey wins last week, Morris averaged 11.29 assists, 1.00 blocks and 1.29 digs per set. He posted 34 assists, three blocks and two digs in a sweep of Emmanuel before accounting for 45 assists, seven digs and four blocks in a 3-1 win over Erskine. Belmont Abbey travels to King tomorrow night for a 7 p.m. match.
