Michigan State鈥檚 Tom Izzo had serious talks last year about coaching Suns
EAST LANSING, Mich. 鈥� Michigan State鈥檚 Tom Izzo said he considered coaching the Phoenix Suns after discussing the possibility last year with one of his former players, Mat Ishbia, who owns the NBA team. 鈥淲e talked seriously about it,鈥� Izzo said Wednesday on 鈥淭he Dan Patrick Show,鈥� during a virtual interview from his office on campus.
