Men鈥檚 lacrosse falls to Colby in midweek nonconference action
CASTINE, Maine 鈥� The Maine Maritime Academy men’s lacrosse team dropped a 28-7 nonconference decision against Colby College at home on Wednesday. Colby (4-5) and Maine Maritime (5-4) battled to a 3-1 decision after the opening quarter, the Mules opened with three-straight goals before sophomore Tobey Lappin put the Mariners on the board off an assist from junior Ryker Spear. The Mules benefited from an 11-0 run to open the second quarter before Lappin scored in the final minute of the opening half to make the deficit 14-2.
