Men鈥檚 Lacrosse: Big Second Half Lifts Golden Wolves Past Rival Lions, 19-8
Reading, Pa. (April 1, 2026) – Alvernia University (7-3, 1-0) netted 12 goals in the second half en route to a 19-8 victory over Albright College (3-8, 0-2) Wednesday night in Alvernia’s MAC Commonwealth men’s lacrosse opener at Alvernia. The Golden Wolves held a four goal, 7-4 advantage over the Lions heading into the halftime break before Alvernia opened up the flood gates and outscored the Lions 12-5 in the second half en route to the 11 goal victory.
