WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University Department of Athletics is expanding its storied tradition as the Home of the Huddle by adding a new kind of teamwork — on horseback — with the introduction of women’s equestrian as a varsity sport beginning in the 2026-27 academic year. With this addition, the Bison will quite literally grow the Herd.
