Frank Woodford Named Don Meyer National Coach of the Year
Benedictine Mesa's Frank Woodford has been named the Don Meyer National Coach of the Year , an award presented annually to the top head coach in the NAIA. Woodford led the Redhawks to a historic season, opening the year with a 17–0 start and finishing 28–7 overall. His team earned a national ranking for the first time in program history and advanced to the GSAC Championship game. Despite falling to The Master's in the title game, Benedictine Mesa secured an at-large bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
