Eagles Hot Start Too Much For Polars
St. Paul, MN – Softball unable to comeback after falling behind early to University of Northwestern. Eagles got the scoring right away thanks to a lead off double and 3-run home run. After 3 innings of play, Eagles held an 11-0 lead. Maria Lilienthal scored the first run for the Polars in the 4th inning on a passed ball. Crown rallied again in the 5th. Lindsey Stapleton tallied her second walk of the contest, Lilienthal slashed a single in the gap, leaving runners on the corners. Itzel Valled sent one over the center field fence to close the gap.
