MIDDLETOWN, CT. – An eight-run seventh inning led to the defeat of the Wesleyan University baseball team on Tuesday evening, falling 12-1 to Eastern Connecticut State University in a non-conference matchup at Dresser Diamond. Popping to an early one-run lead, the Cardinals (6-12 overall) put away a run from Dylan Harrington ’29 in the third inning following two scoreless innings thanks to the efforts of starting pitcher Tanner Mahon ’26.
