Baseball Defeated By Amherst in First Game on the Road
Amherst, Mass. – April 1, 2026 – In their second matchup of the season, the Springfield College baseball team was defeated Amherst in its first away game of the season on Wednesday afternoon, 10-2. The Mammoths improve to 12-4 over while the Pride drop to 13-6. Six different student-athletes had hits for Springfield as Ryan Duffy (Stafford Springs, Conn.) and Tyler Casey (Wallinford, Conn.) led the Pride going 2-for-4 with a run scored while Casey also drove in a run.
