BRONY, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis team took advantage of a beautiful spring day on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts where the Rams defeated LIU, 7-0, on Tuesday. Fordham opened the match taking the doubles point, winning two doubles matches. Julianne Nguyen and Aya Matsunaga defeated Leena Kuittinen and Ksenia Reznitskaya, 6-0, at first doubles and the Rams took third doubles by default. Isabella Aguiar and Sofie Siem were leading 5-0 over Emma Jane Barclay and Paula Guillen Cerver at second doubles when the match was halted. The Rams then won all four contested singles matches.
