Ninety-Six, S.C.—- The Wingate University women’s golf team captured another tournament title, earning a three-stroke victory over Lander in the Grand Harbor Classic to secure its seventh team win of the season. The Bulldogs posted rounds of one-over-par, one-over-par and three-under-par to finish at one-under-par overall in the Anderson University-hosted event. Wingate led the field with consistency all week, recording 174 pars—12 more than any other team—and the fewest bogeys in the tournament with only 42.
