Urbiola Named MEAC Women鈥檚 Tennis Player of the Week
NORFOLK, Va. 鈥� Norfolk State junior Regina Urbiola earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, the league office announced Monday afternoon, following a dominant showing at the MEAC Tennis Round Up. A native of Quer茅taro, Mexico, Urbiola delivered a perfect weekend for the Spartans, going 4-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles competition while helping Norfolk State went 3-1 at the event. Competing primarily in the middle of the lineup, Urbiola controlled singles play from start to finish.
