Trzonkowski Picks Up Second MAC Pitching Honor
NEWTOWN, Pa. 鈥� The Middle Atlantic Conference Office today announced weekly awards for the week ending March 29. For the second-straight week, Eastern University’s Emily Trzonkowski claimed MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week honors. The rookie right-hander from Middletown, Del. earned two more wins and allowed only eight hits and two earned runs over 13 innings. Trzonkowski earned the win over No. 16 Rowan with a very effective seven-inning performance. She held the Profs to two runs and six hits over seven innings. Trzonkowski dealt with way less traffic on the bases in her run-shortened win over Albright on Sunday.…
