Transylvania Falls To Spalding In Road Matchup
LOUISVILLE, KY — Transylvania fell to Spalding 11–9 on Wednesday evening at Derby City Field. The Pioneers jumped out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning highlighted by an RBI double from Calvin Schubert and an RBI groundout from Chris Hedinger. Transylvania added single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to build a 6–3 advantage.
