Thunder softball faces Aurora in a road doubleheader
Montgomery, Ill. 鈥� The Thunder softball team traveled to Aurora University on Monday afternoon for a doubleheader against the Spartans. Today’s twinbill was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 but was moved to today due to rain and cold weather in Wednesday’s forecast. Aurora won the first game 8-4 and the hosts accomplished the sweep with 4-2 victory in the second game. The Spartans won the first game, 8-4 as Aurora scored eight runs, on 13 hits, with zero errors and Wheaton played four runs on 10 hits, with three errors.
