Silvain Earns First Career UMAC Pitcher of the Week Award
ST. PAUL, Minn. 鈥� Breckin Silvain of the University of Minnesota Morris baseball team was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Pitcher of the Week for the period of March 23鈥�29, as announced Tuesday, March 31. Silvain closed out a pair of games against Bethany Lutheran College, earning two saves in the series victory. In the first game of the doubleheader, the senior pitcher threw 2.1 innings with four strikeouts, allowing three hits and one earned run.
