Shine Garners CCS Rookie of the Week
ATLANTA, Ga. — Covenant men’s tennis freshman Lincoln Shine was named the CCS Rookie of the Week, announced the conference on Tuesday. The honor is the fourth such distinction for Shine this season. A freshman from Knoxville, Tenn., Shine went 2-0 in doubles over the past week for the Scots, beating Rafferty and Keana of Kalamazoo 6-3 and Kavali and Rodriguez of Piedmont, 6-3, along with teammate Gavin Patton . For the season, Shine is 4-3 in doubles play and 7-9 in singles. Shine and the Scots will play Maryville tomorrow at 3:30 to attempt to hold a top-tier spot…
