Saints push past Potsdam
CANTON, N.Y.— St. Lawrence University (6-3) defeated the SUNY Potsdam men’s lacrosse team (5-2) 18-7 on Tuesday evening. Sophomore attackman Braydon Goddard (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) led the Bears with a career-high four goals and senior goalie Saka Thompson (Akwesasne, N.Y./Salmon River) made 21 saves. HOW IT HAPPENED The Saints raced out to a 15-3 advantage through the contest’s first 48:34. The Bears scored four of the last seven goals to narrow the gap.
