Rock collects PAC Newcomer of the Week honors
Charles Leftwich, d3photography.com TRAFFORD, Pa.–Westminster freshman Aubrey Rock (Butler, Pa., Butler) was named a Presidents’ Athletic Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon. Rock, the PAC’s Newcomer of the Week, earned a first-place finish in the pole vault Friday at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Coming off an eighth-place, All-America finish at the Division III Indoor Championships on March 19, Rock cleared 3.86 meters (12-08) to top the 21-competitor field.
