Robbins’ Walk-Off Homer and Tvaroch’s Gem Lead Softball to Sweep of Waynesburg
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Geneva College softball team picked up an impressive sweep of Waynesburg at home on Tuesday, receiving a walk-off home run from senior Justine Robbins to win game one, 7-5, before receiving a gem of a pitching performance from senior Sophia Tvaroch to shut out the Yellow Jackets in game two, 3-0.Geneva has now won six in a row and improved to 17-5 overall, 6-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
