Nelson Earns Second Straight Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honor
PROVIDENCE, R.I. 鈥� For the second straight week, Brown freshman pitcher Drew Nelson has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. This comes on the heels of Nelson’s latest stellar outing this past weekend against Princeton. Nelson delivered a dominant start for the second weekend in a row, shutting down the Tigers over 8.0 innings, allowing just one unearned run on four hits with one walk and five strikeouts, all on 95 pitches.
