Men鈥檚 tennis sweeps SAA Athlete of the Week honors
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� Sewanee’s men’s tennis team swept the conference weekly honors after the Tigers went 2-0 in conference play against two ranked opponents in No. 32 Southwestern and No. 13 Trinity. Max Verellen was 2-0 on the weekend at line four, earning his second SAA Singles Honors. Verellen defeated Parth of Southwestern 6-2, 6-2 on Saturday and followed it up dropping just one game to the No. 30-ranked singles player in the country, Ryan Warren of Trinity, with a 6-0, 6-1 win.
