Mennella Adds To Pride Legacy With IWLCA National Player Of The Week Honors
Hempstead, NY - Hofstra redshirt junior Nikki Mennella earned national honors as she was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association National Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by the organization. Mennella shared the award with Lauren Lapointe of Maryland. This is the second time in Mennella's career she has garnered IWLCA weekly honors after earning the same award on April 22, 2025. Prior to earning the award last season, she was the first Hofstra player to receive the honor since Alyssa Parrella on March 16, 2021. Mennella keyed the 13-10 win over Towson this past Saturday....
