By: Alex Pearce, Assistant Athletic Communications Director SALISBURY – Kasen McCawley picked up another award following his no-hitter last weekend, as the right-hander was named Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). The senior hurled the first UNC Pembroke no-hitter since 2022 — and the first solo no-hitter since 2009 — in Game 2 of the series against Shorter, striking out ten to go along with no walks.
