BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – The Lewis University men's golf team placed third Tuesday (March 31) at the Flyer Spring Invitational at Bolingbrook Golf Club. In the rain-shortened tournament Lewis shot a 302 (+14) Monday in the opening round and came back with a 146 (+2) Tuesday in nine holes. Illinois Springfield and Rockhurst tied for first place with each scoring a 447 (+15) for the tournament. The Flyers were just a stroke behind in third place.
