The Panthers of SUNY Old Westbury mounted a late rally to defeat the visiting Bearcats, 9–7, on Tuesday afternoon. The Bearcats jumped out to an early advantage by scoring four runs in the opening inning. Frank Scerra delivered a two-run single to highlight the frame, while Matthew Rappa added a sacrifice fly RBI. Roy Longarzo also showcased his speed, coming home on a wild pitch to give the Bearcats a quick 4–0 lead.
