Katlyn Gandara named Wilson/NFCA National Pitcher of the Week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. 鈥� The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFAC) announced their National Players of the Week with the University of Redlands Katlyn Gandara (Whittier, CA) earning their Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week honor. Gandara helped the Bulldogs go 5-0 and push their winning streak to 13 games, the joint seventh-longest streak in program history. During the week she was a perfect 3-0 with no runs allowed across 13 innings. She allowed 10 hits with only one going for extra bases. She also struck out four with no walks allowed.
