Jaeger Leads Pomeroys to Third-Place Finish at Midway Eagle Invitational
By: Ace Hunt LEXINGTON, Ky. 鈥� The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women’s golf team secured a third-place finish Tuesday at the Midway Eagle Invitational, hosted at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington. The Pomeroys posted a two-round team total of 690, improving by eight strokes in the final round with a 341 after opening with a 349 on Monday. Midway captured the team title with a total of 665, followed by Huntington (Ind.) in second at 679. SMWC finished third to round out the top three.
