Iler and Niklaus Sweep WIAC Weekly Awards
Colorado College earned a sweep of WIAC Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week honors as junior Charlotte Iler was named Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Sofia Niklaus collected Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced. The award marks the first of the season for Iler and the first career weekly honor for Niklaus. Iler powered the Tigers’ offense in a 2-0 weekend to open WIAC play, totaling 11 points on seven goals and four assists while placing 13 shots on goal.
