COCOA BEACH, Flor. – The Webster University softball team opened spring break in the Sunshine State with two games against Western Connecticut State University and UMass Boston. WU’s Brie Hale recorded a career-high three hits The Gorloks fell to WestConn by the score of 4-5 in 10 innings. Webster moves to 5-9 on the season. First-year pitcher Kailey Rushman made her seventh appearance of the season and opened the game with a scoreless inning with two groundouts and a lineout.
