Groves Records Multi-Homerun Performance; Gorloks Rally With Six-Run 8th Inning To Secure 11-4 Victory Over Hanover
SAUGET, Ill. – The Webster University baseball team continued their 10-game homestand by hosting Hanover College. The Gorloks scored five runs in seven innings then erupted for a six-run eighth inning that earned an 11-4 victory over the Panthers. Webster improves to 6-9 overall on the season. First-year starting pitcher Colt Armbrust earned the start on the mound and got in a jam with a single, a walk, and an error.
