NEWTOWN, Pa. – FDU-Florham softball pitcher Sydney Grifone was named the MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 29, the conference office announced Tuesday morning. Grifone, a Vernon, N.J. native was stellar this past week for the Devils as she helped lead FDU to a 4-0 week. She totaled 16 and 1/3 innings across her four appearances as she earned three wins and punched 21 tickets.
