BOSTON – UMass Lowell softball's Olivia DeCitise (Troy, N.Y.) and Ella Van Alstyne (Beacon Falls, Conn.) earned America East weekly honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. DeCitise was named Co-Pitcher of the Week, while Van Alstyne was tabbed Rookie of the Week. DeCitise turned in a historic performance in the circle, highlighted by a perfect game in a 6-0 win at Merrimack on March 25.
