Davis named SAC Pitcher of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill pitcher Jacob Davis was named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as released by the league Tuesday morning. Davis, a freshman from Nebo, N.C., shut down Anderson in a 4-1 win for the Lions on March 28, completing the series sweep. In his seven-inning complete game, he allowed just two hits and didn't walk a batter. The righty allowed just one run while striking out three. Davis leads the Lions with five wins and boasts a 5.18 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 48.2 innings thrown.
